The NIWBQR report for the month of November 2017, focuses on Abuja, Nigeria. The driven route covers three days of extensive driving around the heart of Abuja City, covering important places such as Jabi, Maitaima, Wuse, Gwarinpa Estate, and Asokoro etc. The exercise was carried out on the 6th, 7th and 9th of November, between the hours of 7am and 7pm.

In the exercise, we compared the network performance of five (5) Mobile Broadband Service Providers: MTN, Globacom, Ntel, 9Mobile and Smile.
The performance of the radio access networks of each service provider along the driven routes in comparison with other service providers is rated, using the following KPI weights: Non-LTE UE Technology, 20%; Connection Drop Rate, 20%; Connection Setup Rate, 10%; Latency(ms), 15%; Percentage of bins with DL RLC Layer Throughput less than 500kbps, 25%; and Peak Downlink Throughput(Mbps) 10%.
